Well, it sure has been a while.

Much of what I have been working on lately can't be posted on my blog. My very good friend Rachel recently had a boy get down on one knee and ask her to be his wife.

He is a very handsome, kind hearted, down to earth, loving, sweet, every good adjective the dictionary can hold, and more. The perfect person for my best friend, who is all the same things.

 I immediately started planning a photo shoot to help them announce their engagement. So, we got up at 4 am and went to the beach, in the late fall. It was cold, wet, and perfect.

Andrew & Renee Tying the Knot

Wow, life sure has been busy.

I thought things would slow down after the summer, and I was nervous of that. Jobs have been flying in like crazy, and I'm having trouble keeping up with my blog. I will hopefully be posting more over the next few days, as I have lots to update you all on after this busy summer.

I had the wonderful privilege of photographing a beautiful pair on one of the happiest days of their lives. Nothing brings the tears of joy on like two people so obviously in love and perfect for each other. Two families coming together to rally behind their children and cheer them on as they tie the knot.

This pair overcame some major obstacles throughout their last week of planning and had to change venues 3 days before the wedding. Friends and family stepped in and helped to pull off their special day, despite the rain. The best part was being able to photograph the bride and groom outside during the only sunny break that day. Everything wend off perfectly, and now they are husband and wife.
